Nasolv answers one question: what do you need to reorder, how much, and by when. It reads your stock and recent sales, then gives a ranked list with the date each order must be placed to arrive before you run out. Where there is not enough history to be honest about, it says so instead of producing a number you would order stock against. A confident figure on thin data is worse than none. Every calculation is arithmetic you can check against your own sales. There is no black box.
