Speed is king with our customers. We ensure that orders placed by 4pm are shipped the same day.
Merchants wishing to ship to locations in the Switzerland (CH) or the European Union (EU) are required to enter into an agreement with ShipDirect in order to obtain the necessary account information to complete the onboarding process.
Active products are always transferred, inactive products (e.g. items newly added to the assortment that are not yet to be shown on the shop), on the other hand, can be transferred manually.
The Product listing in the app displays the current status of each product and variant. Products marked with a green checkmark have been transferred to ShipDirect. Products marked red have issues that require correction before they can been transferred.
The same applies to order verification. Here too, all attributes are checked to see if, for example, address data is missing. The corrected data can then be transmitted manually.
Merchant address & logo
The merchant address (sender address) and logo can be stored when the app is set up and can be adapted later at any time.
By selecting the location, several locations can be stored in order to be able to send articles from different locations.
Several synchronization tasks are automatically executed at specific intervals:
- Synchronize Products
- Synchronize Stock Levels
- Synchronize Orders
- Synchronize Order Status
These tasks can have their intervals adjusted to meet the needs of your shop. The selectable intervals in the scheduler are in the range of (Depending on the specific task):
- 30 min
- 1 hour
Additionally, some tasks can be triggered manually:
- Single/Multiple transfer of products (Shopify -> MS Direct)
- Single/Multiple transfer sales order (Shopify -> MS Direct)
By default orders are sent to ShipDirect regardless of their financial status. Merchants can modify this behavior in the settings so that only orders that have been marked as Paid are transferred.
Merchants can assign the shipping methods from their shop to the available shipping methods offered by ShipDirect. Additionally merchants can set a default shipping method to use incase no shipping method is defined in the order.
Example: If a merchant has set PCH_ECO (CH-Post Economy Shipping) as the default value and the customer selects PCH_PRI (Priority) in the shop for an additional charge, the priority shipping method is used if correctly associated. However, if no match takes place, PCH_ECO (i.e. the default value) is used.
