Ok now things seem to be better. After a terrible start, Shopify Bundles Team seems to have fixed the problem.
We've been loosely monitoring the volumes reported in the bundle products and comparing them to the least available product in the bundle and it seems to be stable indeed. Haven't checked all the inventory either.

The fact that it is free, is amazing and it starting to become very important to stock control as I have some items that have 9 or 10 different customers
but can something be done about the Packing Slip, why should the customer see what the contents of their order has in it - they should just see the Bundle Product name - not everything else
Works fantastically on our store, presents bundles well to the customer however doesn't publish out to Facebook or TikTok, doesn't collect reviews from Judge.me. Frustrating as if those issues were solved it would be excellent.
It works, but has less flexibility than the same feature in 40-year-old POS systems. Hoping for more options and features in the future. Would love to see:
- a toggle for whether or not to reveal the parts of a bundle to the customer
- support for more sales channels
- auto calculation for cost and weight based on bundle components
- support for add-on products
Can't use based on these reviews. Surely most merchants creating bundles will want to price a bundle so its less than the items together when not bundled. Seems like it us not.

This is more of a review of what I was told it would do. In shopping around for a new POS, our Shopify salesperson assured us we could use Bundles as a tool to receive inventory, as our inventory often comes in packs to be broken down. You can't create a direct-to-checkout link for a Bundle.
Shopify's own products, both of them. And yet, impossible. So you must send your customers to the Bundle home page, and from there they do the 'add to cart' thing.
Why? Why why why. Whhhyyyyyyy. It's a computer. They can do anything. Just make it do this.
Absolute rubbish. Spent hours creating new bundles only to find out that the new bundled products can't be published to FB or Google sales channels. What good is a product on a website if you can't market it!!!

This is a good example of a feature that is 90% on the way to being perfect, but the 10% of functionality that is lacking causes the feature to be unusable. Most themes don't seem to support bundles at all, which leads to sub-optimal experiences like the bundled product pages not being able to show any details of the individual products that make up the bundle!
