It doesn't work, as others have stated. The main issue is that it does not reset at the end of the day. Seems like such a simple fix, yet Shopify doesn't care to fix it. Insane.
I'm having the same issues as everyone else, the old app worked great. This new one is a pain. Every 1 order the counter goes up by 2. I have to reset it everyday. And it keeps flipping randomly throughout the day. Disappointed, I've had the counter for a year now and never had issues until now.
I own 4 Shopify counters, 3 using the old app (works well) and 1 using the new (doesn't work at all).
Shopify refuse to let you use the old app, so you're forced to use the new app which doesn't work.
Check the other reviews, it's not worth buying the counter at the moment.
This new version of the app does not work. First the number was wrong and now the number on the counter keeps going up by 2 for every one sale. The old app was so great, I just set it and forgot about it and it worked!
The counter became useless after Shopify forced us to update the app.
1- The app don't reset when the watch hits 0:00, it just keeps adding numbers
2- We configured the numbers to exclude unpaid orders, but they are still being counted
3- Random ups and downs in the day
4- Refunds are not being counted. So if you sell $1,000 but refund $2,000, the app would still show you've sold $1,000
5- And the more important thing: WE CAN'T GO BACK to the old App, they removed it from the Shopify App Store.
If you have the Counter and are requested to update it: DON'T DO IT!
Ever since the new app dropped, the counter is ALWAYS incorrect. Whenever I get an order, the counter value decreases. I have to manually update it EVERY time. Which was not my expectation when I purchased the counter.
Exactly what everyone says, ever since the update the counter doesn't work anymore, completely worthless.
Ever since updated as stated by Shopify; our counter doesn't work. Can't even get into the app (Rate Exceeded) error message.
Doesn't work, updated as the old app stated I should. Filled out the counter and token ID correctly, now the new app won't save the settings and has effectively bricked my counter.
- edit - finally got this to work by completely uninstalling the app in Shopify and starting again. The interesting thing is it started to work after I put the name of the counter in the Shopify app different to what it's called on the Smiirl webpage. Maybe that did the trick, maybe it didn't.
Does not work any more, bugging out constantly! Massive disappointment. My counter never works anymore and I have tried everything even reaching out to support with no luck.
