It was very easy to do, however, I sell fabric and I can't seem to find out how to adjust the inventory or the weight for proper shipping charges. AI helped me find the answer but the directions are incorrect. There are no shipping options listed when I activate the individual fabrics. Not sure what to do now.
Took a few attempts to get everything in and this saved loads of time. However, no pictures or descriptions were imported so I have to insert them manually (over 9000) which will take a month of Sundays.
While it collected and imported all the info from my existing Etsy Store, it incorrectly allocated the SKU numbers when I had products with multiple variations. As a result I had to edit and change all of these, which in some dames had over 50 variations to one listing. It also added the same price to every variation when prices were different. Thought migration would save me a lot of time. Sadly it has not at all
This app won't import anything from square. I tried to import the products, customers, and orders. The error was the same for each. CSV headers don't match expected format for Square. I won't get those wasted hours back!
It is a nice feature to have but it doesn't upload quantity or vendors which is very important to our store. So it is time consuming to go through everything and add that.
Terrible experience as a new user. It has been complicated and having a lot of issues. The most important one is that I didn't know I had to have my website down for 20 days as my domain is transferred, even thought it was transferred from Godaddy a while ago.
No sympathy for my situation from ny of the agents I've spoken to. I get it now why you offer $1 monthly payments cause I don't really get to use it for a whole month.
Wish this information would have been disclosed clearly up front.
I have not been able to make sales for over 10 days now
It didn’t completely migrate over. On Shopify I got the product but no pic, no stock count, but I did get the sku number and the cost. I worked with what I had and just added what I could.
It correctly moved over about 5% of my products from WooCommerce, so at least I had a general template to recreate all of my other products, but that was it's only pro.
Cons were that it imported that 5% three times, so there were duplicate entries for each, including duplicate images, that needed to be sorted out. It also partially imported another 40% of my products, pulling in just the title and perhaps an image or two, the rest of the data was blank. So again, these could be used as a template, but every product needed to be checked thoroughly.
In summary, marginally better than nothing, but needs a lot of work.
Hi,
I am an Etsy store owner YCBTEESHIRTS & GIFTS. I wanted to have another platform, so from what I hear Shopify is one of the best. I have not finished my site yet but so far so good.
It was pretty easy I watched a youtube video on how to transport over from Etsy, and the app popped up so I added it and it did all the work. I'm still confused because am not sure what to do with some things. But overall easy upload of the products.
It appears as though everything ported over easily by CSV. I'm thankful. I was wondering how I was ever going to be able to add my listings and would have likely given up.
