StoreRank Rank in ChatGPT & AI

Great addition to our store. We started using it to make sure our store is ready for how people discover products through AI and it's been useful so far. The article quality is genuinely strong and requires very little editing before publishing. Looking forward to seeing how the platform evolves.

We’ve been using StoreRank for a couple of weeks now and honestly it feels like one of the first Shopify SEO apps that actually understands where ecommerce is heading with AI search.

Most SEO apps still focus purely on Google rankings, while this app is clearly built around getting your products understood by ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, etc. The automatic schema setup and FAQ generation were surprisingly good and didn’t require a developer to implement everything manually.

The AI crawler access setup and llms.txt support are also a really smart addition. A lot of store owners probably don’t even realize AI crawlers struggle to properly understand Shopify stores out of the box.

What I personally liked most:
• Easy to use dashboard
• Bulk optimization saves a lot of time
• AI-focused product optimization actually gives useful suggestions
• Article autopilot helps keep content publishing consistent
• Mention tracking is very interesting for monitoring brand visibility across AI platforms

The app also didn’t noticeably slow down our store, which was one of my biggest concerns before installing.

I think this category of “AI SEO” is going to become huge over the next few years and this feels like one of the more forward-thinking apps currently available on Shopify.

Would love to see even deeper customization for article generation and publishing workflows in the future, but overall very impressed so far.

Great app for improving visibility in AI search. Easy to set up and very useful. It handles both the backend optimizations and the content creation side of things. I really like the content it writes and ability to customize things as well. I've only been using it for a short time, but it's been a good experience so far.

Great app! Gives us a clear idea of how to optimize for AI search and very easy to use. The dashboard makes it simple to track what's actually working and what to optimize next. Setup was quick too.

Really happy with Storerank so far! It made it much easier to optimize our store for both Google and AI. Recommendations are clear and actionable, and the mention tracker gives interesting insights into how our brand is shown in ChatGPT. Easy to use and practical highly recommended!

I tested this app on the Scale plan ($289/month) for two weeks, and unfortunately, it did not meet expectations.

The main issue is the lack of real value relative to the price.

The app primarily generated a few blog articles and some images, which can easily be done with any standard AI tool at a much lower cost.

Content quality was inconsistent:

Articles were often not aligned with my niche or products
Keywords did not match my business context
FAQs generated were unrealistic and not relevant to actual customer behavior

The analytics and tracking features look impressive at first, but there is no clear explanation of where the data comes from. This makes it difficult to trust or use the insights in any practical way.

Another concern is the pricing model. If the app is supposed to “optimize” content and fix issues, why is such a high monthly fee required on an ongoing basis? After initial optimization, it’s unclear what justifies continued costs at this level.

At its current stage, the app feels overpriced for what it delivers. It may have potential, but it needs significant improvement in:

Content relevance and accuracy
Transparency of analytics
Clear, ongoing value for the subscription

For now, I cannot justify the price.

StoreRank has been a great addition to my Shopify store. It gives clear direction on how to optimize products for AI search, which is something I hadn’t really focused on before.

I especially like how it helps structure content in a way that matches real customer questions. It’s easy to use, practical, and feels very relevant for where online search is heading.

Highly recommend for any small business wanting to stay ahead.

SEO has been a real headache for us and a lot of plugins have dissapointed us. Storerank actually covers what we need. The articles feature writes full blog articles that sound like a real person wrote them, not that stiff robotic bs you usually get. I've published a few already and they're looking good. The product optimizer is excellent too, I ran it on my worst performing product page first and the FAQ schema it generated picked up a question I'd actually been getting in customer emails. It also rewrote titles, descriptions, and bullet points across my listings. Only tiny complaint is that the AI sometimes suggests an FAQ question that feels a bit off, but it's easy to edit. Overall can recommend!
