Great app, well basically its just essential because we are managing 3 shopify markets, Hungary,Germany(DACH)region, and an English speaking domestic EU/International market
Please include an option to be able to set Hungarian as the language of shopify admin, so i can share my work better with my team, or anyone who not speaks english.

Limited. Tried using this App and everything was looking really good, until we realised that it was translating underlying URL links in the body of our pages. This meant that the URL's in the links weren't correct, causing 404 errors. Once again, the standard response from Shopify was that the App was limited, and that we would need to pay more for a third party App that might do a better job.
We had already translated our shops main language and ALL tags, labels e.t.c but apparently we can no longer edit this directly in shopify but have to rely on an app that makes this an impossible operation.
The app becomes completely useless when it can't translate, or should i say, change the reference text into the same language but to something more suited for the issue
It was working fine but at some point it completely stopped taking the right references but using for all products the same info. Support could only tell me to manually translate the references or use another app. It is unknown what the bug is due to and if it is fixable
Overall a good app, but it's a shame that third-party content still can't be translated. It would be important to have features like reviews translated into the respective language.
Me and my team wanted to use this app to translate our shop from english into german. Already the automatic translation of the general theme content and system - in particular the checkout is mostly useless. The app states that these general parts of the Shopify system are "professionally translated" which is a joke, because not even the word checkout is translated into german language - this is one of the most important words and you dont get it correctly translated so that the general german population can understand it? Come on Shopify! As a billion dollar company you can do better!
... Now to the worst part: We took the time to fully translate all the website resources ourselves "manually". After a few days we were close to finishing the translation of all the themes and gerneral website resources like the checkout system. We saved our progress along the way countless times, at least the app is constantly reminding you of that... BUT one morning ALL THE TRANSLATIONS WERE GONE! We have no clue how every translation we did during the last few days just vanished- nobody did anything! The night before everything was there and almost ready to be launched... the next day not a single translation we did the days before was available anymore... This app is competely unusable and a serious risk for anyone who wants to run a shopify shop in multiple languages. If I could give 0 stars, I would do so.
Shopify Translate might be suitable for basic needs.
But it lacks some advanced features available in ConveyThis and Weglot. Notably, Shopify Translate does not offer strong multilingual SEO support (like translated URL slugs and hreflang tags), nor does it provide extensive customization options for language switchers or dynamic content translation. While Shopify's native app supports multiple languages, it doesn't allow as much flexibility in design or API integration for custom translation workflows.
It would be great if we could have a custom language selectors, multilingual SEO features, and a robust API for on-demand translations, for more complex or large-scale stores.
I’ve been using the Translate and Adapt app for a while now, and unfortunately, it no longer translates pages or products into the desired language, especially after updating them more than twice. The issue has persisted for several months now, and even when I spend a long time translating content manually, it often doesn’t save. I’ve followed all the troubleshooting steps provided, but the issue persists. The app only works if I haven’t modified a product or page more than twice. When I report the issue, I’m always told to contact the app developers — but this is a Shopify-developed app, so I’m left wondering who else I should report it to. Very disappointing!
For a long time, I couldn’t understand why my product descriptions weren’t updating across English variants (e.g., US, CA, AU, GB). Shopify support repeatedly redirected me, suggesting conflicts with other apps, which caused significant delays in resolving the issue.
It turns out the Translate & Adapt app itself prevents automatic syncing of updates between English language variants. If I hadn’t figured this out on my own, my product descriptions would have remained outdated indefinitely, negatively affecting my store’s accuracy and user experience. This limitation is highly inefficient and creates unnecessary manual work.
It would be great if you can add more then 2 languages.
And it is great for translating the baisics and pages on the webpage. But each artikel you need to do one by one, these need to get more efficiënt.
