I can highly recommend with the Variant Image Automator solution, we have been working with other StarApps solutions as well for several years and must say that both theirs solutions and service are outstanding.
Our store just recently switched over to a paid Shopify Theme and our variant images were all jumbled up (even though we already had this integration) and with the help of StarApps amazing team, they were able to help me fix my issue with ease, and they even noticed other things that needed fixing that helped me inprove my store! App itself is a bit clunky, slow, and doesn't convert images to AVIF or WEBP. Great customer service though when something broke on our site.
Would recommend this app when using multiple pictures of different variants for your products. Needed help today and had my issue solved within a couple minutes, due to my own mistake.
