Bulk Discounts is a free app that lets you import or generate 1000s of discount codes.
Other features include:
- Give each discount set a custom prefix
- Keep track of how many discounts have been used

So far this has been great for generating most of the basic coupon codes we need, but we also need the capability to generate a FREE SHIPPING code that's tied to a specific product.
Coupon codes can be hard to maintain, and this app makes it easy for our Pagan Supplies Shop to keep track of the numerous coupon codes we use. This is just what we needed to take the headache out of having to nit pick through our promotions and one by one edit or delete.
Great App!
It works great, but for some reason we have not been able to use it for the last couple of days...

We were excited at first and added a few codes on each of our six websites. Then, we picked up a very large order for Groupon and things went downhill from there. It seems that the Bulk Discount app works for small numbers of codes but not for larger numbers of codes, and it has ended in us reverting back to the old way of loading codes for reliability.
App is misleading. Customers can only use "one" coupon code during check out. So if a customer buys 4 products, which means they get 4 coupon codes, the customer has to enter in their shipping information, credit card, billing info, etc 4 separate times which is a huge hassle to customers. On the merchant end, because only one order can have one coupon code, this means 4 products now becomes 4 separate orders which means the merchant is wasting money mailing 4 separate packages to the same customer. Customers get aggravated, and business owners waste thousands of dollars on excess shipping due to "one discount code per order."
This is a first good step. But if you plan to use this with something like groupon, 100% discount (because the payment is offloaded to groupon) and paypal payment, you hit the following issue: http://support.shopify.com/customer/portal/articles/103660-where-do-my-customers-enter-the-discount-code-
Users have to enter their credit card before entering the code.
We are looking to implement this so that we can quickly issue bulk discount codes for Groupon. This is one of many apps that Shopify has to help grow your business.
Nice and simple to setup. Created a bunch of discount codes in a couple of minutes. So far so good.
So far so good...easy to create 1,000 unique discount codes and exported easily to csv file.....and we even tested the first code and it works....great job guys...can't wait to keep using this and telling everyone....
Awesome app, much better than writing individual codes out one at a time.
Great app! So glad to be able to just pull off a list of a few hundred or thousands codes without needing a developer to run a custom script. This was a necessary add big time and this makes life a ton easier for us!
