Useful tool for image compression. I hope there will be more options in alt text optimizer, for example, different templates for product, collection, or other images.
We tested the Pro version and saw noticeable improvements in our store's performance on both desktop and mobile devices. The app was easy to set up, and the optimization results were visible shortly after implementation. The support team was also responsive and helpful throughout the process. If you're looking to improve your Shopify store's speed and overall user experience, this app is definitely worth trying.
Completely incompetent staff and application - I wasted entire weeks of my time manually optimizing photos, but then they removed the automatic optimization and now they've included paid plans/monthly fees with ridiculously high prices. Even if it was free before and worthless - now with these prices it's not even worth wasting your time and money. This company is completely useless and arrogant!

To clarify what happened with your account: as an early user, your access prior to our pricing update was already secured. However, when you uninstalled the app, that access was unfortunately reset. This is a Shopify platform limitation, not something we can retain after uninstallation. As soon as you reported the issue, our team restored it right away.
Regarding the pricing update: the app has grown well beyond image optimization. It now includes page speed optimization using a range of advanced techniques, and continuing to grow it the right way required us to introduce paid plans. We hope you can understand why this was necessary.

Tobias was super helpful in setting everything up effortlessly for us. We have an insane number of images which puts us over Shopify's media limit (that feels like a new limit btw). AppPlaza and Tobias to the rescue! Don't hesitate - this was one of the easiest, most effective apps we've utilized on Shopify.

Wish they add AI way of adding more high authority SEO alt texts in future to the images. Pamela is very helpful.
The app is very useful for speeding up your page which counts towards the SEO, if you check my site Trade Sports in the UK we have used the app to optimise all our images, the technical support is great too, I spoke to Ricky who arranged everything for me and helped me to use the app.
Great app and easy to use. Pamela from the support team helped me to get through automatique conversion (had around 900 images) with ease. Managed to save almost 2GB making my website load faster.

We did process your refund 2 days ago and sent a confirmation email at that time. It seems the email may not have reached you. Could you please check your inbox and spam/junk folder for a message from us?
You can also verify the refund directly in your Shopify admin under Settings → Billing. The charge should already reflect as refunded there.
