I run several DTC Shopify stores, and before Aplon I was jumping between separate dashboards and spreadsheets just to work out what I'd actually made. Aplon pulls all of it into one place every store, every order, real profit after costs, not just top-line revenue.
The standout feature for me is the alerts. You can set a ROAS threshold on your Facebook campaigns and get a push notification straight to your phone the moment one drops below it, so you know to cut the budget, scale it, or kill it entirely. I've been on a flight and caught a campaign bleeding money before it did any real damage. I haven't come across another app that does this most will show you the numbers after the fact, but Aplon actually tells you while it still matters.
The P&L view has paid for itself on its own. I can see exactly where margin is going instead of guessing at month end, and viewing the entire portfolio in one go rather than store by store has saved me hours every week. The revenue calendar and expense tracking mean nothing slips through unnoticed.
I've tried a few of the bigger names in this space and Aplon does more for less. Same depth of tracking, cleaner interface, and a price that doesn't scale painfully as you add stores. If you're running more than one store and still stitching numbers together manually, this is the tool to switch to.
