Tessel: Collections at Scale

Write one rule. Tessel builds a collection for every type, tag and vendor combination you sell.

A large catalog needs collections for the way customers browse it: by vendor, by product type, by tag, and by the pairs in between. Building those by hand is slow, and the work returns every time you add a brand or a category. Tessel builds them from one rule. You pick the fields to combine and a naming pattern, and it creates a native Shopify collection for each combination that has products in it. Combinations with no products are skipped. Every hour it checks the catalog for new ones.
