Merchants set a starting bid amount, a bid increment, and an auction end time for any product in their store. Customers place bids on a dedicated auction page until the auction closes, and the top bidder can purchase the product at their final bid amount. This helps merchants sell limited or in demand items through customer driven bidding rather than a fixed listing.
