We use Book'd for booking private coaching sessions and small group classes. I tested three different booking apps before landing on this one because most either felt overly complicated or required too many workarounds.
What I like most is that it feels like a natural part of Shopify instead of another external scheduling platform. Customers book, pay, receive confirmation emails, and everything shows up in our calendar automatically. There are still a couple of customization options I'd love to see added, but overall it's been reliable and our staff picked it up very quickly.
We switched from Calendly because we wanted customers to book and pay directly through our Shopify store instead of sending them to another website. Setup was easier than I expected, and after about an hour we had our services, staff availability, and Google Calendar syncing properly.
The automatic reminder emails have definitely reduced no-shows, and clients like being able to choose their own time slots during checkout. We had one small issue with our theme, but support responded within a few hours and fixed it for us. So far it's been exactly what we needed.
