Your stock sits in more than one place: the warehouse it ships from, the stores it's collected from. Shoppers can't tell which store has it, so they book a pickup that fails. A warehouse-only item beside a collect-only one shares no method: checkout stalls. Shoppers see which store has each item and lock to one that can fulfill. Mark an item pickup-only or local-only and checkout enforces it. A mixed cart still places two real orders. Native end to end: Shop Pay and pickup notifications work.
