The standard progress bar sets a store threshold and hopes shoppers close the gap. Shoppers have learned to ignore it, because the goal was never theirs. BuddyBoost gives every shopper a personal cart goal, set just above where they already are. They see their own live progress bar. They're silently paired with another live shopper at a similar cart value. The gap always feels closeable. The challenge always feels real. A personal goal gets completed. An arbitrary threshold gets ignored.
