Excellent app! We've been using it for nearly 3 years now and are really pleased with it. We were using a similar app, but were unhappy with the support they provided, so removed it and defaulted to Shopify's shipping. However, our model is fairly complex with discounts according to weight and price and we had feedback that customers were experiencing very slow checkouts. Which we assume is why we had a steep increase in abandoned carts. Since we installed Calcurates the speed is excellent and we've had zero complaints.
On top of this the support has been second to none. Calcurates were extraordinarily responsive and helpful (and patient!).
Highly recommend - and if you need a hand with setting up your rates I also highly recommend reaching out to the Calcurates team for help.

We use Calcurates for our stores and its the first app we install on a new build.
It makes setting up shipping straight forward and most importantly accurate.
Even when we have complicated shipping procedures Nik and the team at Calcurates take the time to understand what we are trying to achieve and then offer the best solution for our circumstances, it is refreshing to be able to work directly with a team that takes the time to understand your business goals and be able to consistently offer an accurate solution.

Extremely pleased with Calcurates app and Nik’s support – I’m store owner, not strong technical person, Nik showed me how to configure custom packaging for dimensional shipping, packaging rules for ship separately parcels, showed me how to test shipping using Activity Feed, practical settings for Address Validation. Whenever I’ve needed help with settings, configuration, testing rates, etc. Nik explains very clearly what I’m doing wrong and what I need to do. I’ve done fair amount of configuration with this app, our cart shipping functionality is working great, and I’m pretty sure I’m only using a small portion of what this app is capable of doing. HIGHLY RECOMMEND CALCURATES! Thank you Nik!

A very powerful app that is 100% needed for full control of your shipping rates and carriers in checkout. Lots of features and settings allow you to completely customize your shipping methods/rates according to your business needs. A very powerful feature that should be mentioned is the ability to fully customize the shipping method names, messages and rates in checkout. Not many apps offer this feature but Calcurates does it flawlessly. Nik and the support team has been extremely helpful in answering our questions and resolving any issues we experienced as well.
