Thank you for the feedback. You are correct that Chaterimo is intentionally an AI-first support chatbot and currently does not offer live agent takeover inside the chat window.
However, merchants can still follow up on customer queries through Chaterimo’s ticketing system. The AI can collect the customer’s email or phone number and create a ticket for your team to handle by email or phone.
We understand that the distinction between AI chat, ticket-based human follow-up, and traditional live chat might not have been clear enough in our listing. We are updating the description to make this limitation more explicit.
I also reached out by email with instructions for configuring the lead form and requiring contact information before a ticket is created. We would be happy to help you set this up.

Awesome, but BYOK onboarding could be clearer.
Love the chatbot and customization, and the ‘unlimited conversations’ angle is real if you’re comfortable bringing your own API key. That said, BYOK confused all our team members at first (where usage costs show up, which key to use, and what to expect). Once we got it, the value is excellent — especially with proactive prompts and ticketing when the bot hits an edge case.
