First, let me talk about the issues with the product itself. The reason I’ve decided not to use this plugin is that it causes significant lagging during use. Additionally, after it scrapes content from pages, I still have to manually revise most of the content, which is essentially no different from editing scraped content by hand directly. From a usability perspective, this drastically reduces the plugin’s practical value. To be truly effective, the plugin must support editing the scraped content to greatly improve users’ efficiency.
Next, I’d like to address the service problems. I forgot about the automatic renewal after the 7-day free trial, so I was charged automatically once the trial period ended. When I noticed the charge, I tried to turn off the automatic renewal, only to find that the plugin became completely unusable as soon as auto-renewal was disabled. I assumed that being unable to use the plugin would result in an automatic refund, but after waiting 3–5 days, no refund was processed. I then contacted the plugin provider through Shopify, and even though a reply was promised within 48 hours, it took 7 days to get a response—with the final update stating that a refund was not possible. This has truly been an awful experience.

Just to provide some additional clarification for anyone reading your feedback:
1) Product content and variants
Product information, including titles, descriptions, variants, and attributes, is fetched directly from the marketplaces through scraping and/or official marketplace APIs. The data is automatically translated from Chinese into English when imported.
For example, if a variant option is named **"Color"** on the source marketplace, it will be imported into Dropast as **"Color"**. You are then free to edit the option names and values inside Dropast before exporting the product to your store.

2) Subscription and billing clarification
After checking directly with Shopify Support regarding your store *[bucgsx-bu], we can confirm the following subscription timeline:
* You activated the 7-day trial under the Basic plan on March 24, 2026 at 3:59 AM
* You unsubscribed on April 5, 2026 at 12:01 PM
For this reason, any billing was handled directly by Shopify's billing system, as Dropast subscriptions and charges are managed entirely by Shopify.
We would also like to clarify that Dropast never disabled, locked, or restricted your account on our side, as we do not have a mechanism to manually suspend accounts based on billing status. Subscription management and invoicing are handled exclusively through Shopify.
We hope this clarification is helpful, and we sincerely thank you again for taking the time to share your experience.
Additionally, as a gesture of goodwill, we have issued a full refund for the charge in question. We hope this demonstrates our commitment to customer satisfaction and our willingness to resolve concerns fairly, even in situations where the subscription and billing process is managed directly by Shopify.

An excellent app for working with Taobao. Support responds quickly to all questions. When Taobao changes its algorithms, updates are released promptly. The program is intuitive and easy to use.
Tech Support staff resolved my issue within seconds of my giving her to look at it.
I got it for trial, didnt use it and forgot about it, especially being caught up with other business things. They charged me the monthly fee, i contacted them and they were prompt in responding and sorting it out. very nice customer service. i certainly will come back when i am fully ready to use the app

No way to actually search for items on any of the site as you need an account to even view. There is no search in the app. Effectivly making this app worthless for $49 a month.

What you wrote is correct — Dropast is a dropshipping platform that connects Shopify stores with Taobao, Tmall, and 1688, so it’s necessary to have a Taobao account to browse these marketplaces, select your preferred sellers and shops, and then import and sync products between your Shopify store and the marketplaces through Dropast.
Since these marketplaces contain an enormous number of products, it’s not possible to make them directly searchable within our app. While we could technically filter some of them, we feel that doing so would limit our users’ flexibility and freedom to choose.
We genuinely hope your dropshipping business goes well, and we’d really appreciate it if you’d consider reconsidering the one-star review, as it wasn’t related to any lack of support or service from our side.

great app to import product and track inventory
The app is not working properly. I am unable to log in, and it is really slow. Every time I need to use it, I have to uninstall and reinstall it. It's a nightmare to use, and you have to pay for it. If it worked well, I wouldn't mind paying, even though it is an expensive app. But paying for something that I can't use properly and is so slow is a big NO.

**Update as of July 22, 2024:** We tried reaching out by emailing your Shopify account and via your website's ticketing service but haven't received a reply. We hope you get back to us so we can address this one-star review, which is the only one we have.
**Update as of July 25, 2024:** We have been trying to reach you daily through all available channels without any response.
**Update as of August 10, 2024:** Despite our daily efforts to contact the merchant, we have not received any reply. It seems that the merchant is refusing support, leading us to believe that this negative review may be linked to fraudulent activity.
Do this have product bulk import option ?
Really good support team, and overall makes it really easy to import products, videos and reviews to your Shopify store.
Y’all keep changing the bulk import with no notice so this is overbearing

"this app does not working it is asking all the time to login it is a waste of time do not install it!!!!! Also you can not have fast answers from support in this case loosing time and money. even you do not have a cancel subscription button

Support response time is very poor and did not refund and charged 52$ i dont understand why they dont respond on time and charging alot

Support responded quickly and solved all problems. The money is back. Everything is fine. Thanks for the prompt work. the service works well. I recommend
automated dropshipping process from taobao and Tmall, cool, however I do not like it costing 25 dollar per month, about 10 percent service cost of an original product could be enough.D
Pros
-App is user friendly. Auto sync products from Taobao and Tmall, -Automatic download pictures and videos, save you lots of time. -Address concern appropriately. Cons
-Lots of miscellaneous charges such as USD $29 monthly subscription, PayPal charges when top up money into Dropast account, Converting rate charges, product charges, logo charges and etc..
-Service response rate was very poor.
