it is an excellent app; we can add an individual description to each variant. Also, it supports bulk import—great support from Mircea Piturca.
This app and the support provided by Mircea is beyond amazing. I have struggled with our theme update when the variant description information stopped working for us, so this app is a god-send. Mircea recently helped us out even further by having 2 different metafields update per the variant, at different locations, so this is absolutely great app and wonderful support. Thank you so much.
I forgot to leave a review right after being in touch with Mircea from Variant Description OMG but better late than never. I needed to use a Variant Description function for my store to be adapted to a specific requirement and I must say it has been easy to have it done. Not to mention that it works perfectly fine. Depending on your business, variant descriptions may be very helpful to build trust with customers who always feel more comfortable when provided with precise info. Variant description OMG truly helps in that.
The app is working perfectly and it's really best for products with multiple variants. We're already using the app in most of our Shopify Stores! Truly, an awesome app! Worth
It's good, but could be better. Doesn't seem to integrate well with Shopify CSV import, when you want to edit a selection of products (of which we have quite a few) also a back-up/undo/"revert to previous version" feature would be really useful. These adding extras would make it more value for money. Otherwise considering the lack of these type of apps, this is a good app.

The Shopify CSV import only imports products, not variant descriptions. This is how Shopify works. But if you need bulk CSV functionality we have a solution. Please contact us at support@typefolly.zendesk.com and I can help you out.
There is an undo function. Our editor works just like the native Shopify one. You can undo just as in any editor using Ctrl + Z. If you want to revert to the initial product description, just delete the variant description. It is as simple as that. Please reach out to us. I am happy to help you!
A fantastic app that really helps me offer different variations with different best-before dates. At first, I wasn't sure if the app would work the way I wanted. But Micera quickly helped me! Now it's just up to my backend to provide the data so the best-before date can be displayed. No more problems thanks to this great app, and thanks to Micera's help!
