ExIm ‑ Export Import pages , 21 reviews
Ported our blogs over easily with no problem, but once the blogs were in the new store we were unable to edit them in Shopify for a few days. Contacted support who assisted and reinstalling the app seemed to correct the problem! Thanks for your help.
Hi Luna,
I replied on the same day - https://monosnap.com/file/wBIGyjU892uHhIC9Z7EVMG0zYveJf9
I can't reproduce the issue you describe. It may be not an app-related issue.
Please provide more detail or create a staff account for me.
Best regards
Not working. It displays this message. "Something went wrong Try again later or contact the app support."
I have emailed support, they requested the file I wanted to import and that´s it. The problem was not solved and support did nothing else. I meialed back, no answer.
Victor, thank you for your review.
Typically, I reply within 24 hours (one business day).
You are using the wrong file format. The Exim app is designed to export data from one Shopify store and import them to another Shopify store. The Exim app uses only internal file formats. The files that were generated by the Exim app and no other files.
Your ZIP file includes only images - https://monosnap.com/file/J3Vxtn3ijLGtOHUNDxuIXxw1wvdweG.
I believe there is no app to convert ZIP file with images to a Shopify store.
You should hire someone to complete this job for you.

Great on transfer theme settings and pages. Thanks for making this app. It's convenient and easy, but elements on the homepage don't properly transfer to my new theme which I don't know why.
Hi, Vaang,
Thank you for your feedback.
Under the hood, the app copies config files (*.json)
It works in many cases.
Unfortunately, it doesn't work for significant theme changes. Cause the theme may change the internal logic, sections, and settings schema. In this case, the merchant should manually configure the new theme version.
Best regards
I am trying to export and import blogs with modifications but it's not updating current blogs and only showing message "Blogs Imported" when import. This App is not working as it should.
Hi,
Thank you for your feedback. Please recheck your modifications. The modifications should not break the JSON format.
You may send me the exported ZIP file and modified ZIP file. I will review the issue.

Hi, I am getting this error, kindly move to the premium hosting rather than depending on Heruko free host. It's giving a lot of errors. Have a look. I got this error An error occurred in the application and your page could not be served. If you are the application owner, check your logs for details. You can do this from the Heroku CLI with the command
heroku logs --tail
Hi,
Thank you for your feedback.
This is a free app, it works fine for our theme developer team, mostly to export and import theme settings.
Recently, I added a paid plan. I hope to collect some money to purchase premium hosting.
Best regars
So glad this app exists, and is free. does what I needed it to do - great "value" for sure! Hope to support you guys on other projects soon.
Thank you.
I am trying to use the application, to export the blogs from my older Shopify store to the new one. I think application is not working properly, in fact not importing at all, and no reply from support.
Hmm, It may be a temporary hosting issue. You may try again later.
If you still see the issue please send me the example file to codefan18@gmail.com or create a staff account for codefan18@gmail.com I will review your issue.
Best regards, Alex
Setting up a new DEV store, didn't want to recreate 50 pages. App was quick and did what I needed it to do. Kudos!
Thank you.
Seems to probably work but it is capped at 250 blog posts. It was not able to import more than 15% of my blog.
Yes. It's hard to process more data for free. I'm considering adding paid plan and increasing the data amount.
Excellent free app! Works very well! There is no default functionality from Shopify to migrate pages (which is ridiculous) and this app is very useful in that regard.
Thank you.
