Do I need to have a Google Ads account?
Yes. If you don't have a Google Ads account but you are interested in starting with Google Advertising, contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Does the Assistant make changes on my ad account or Merchant Center?
No, the Assistant will only read and generate a report. You can make the proposed changes in the report on your own.
What permissions does the Assistant needs?
It needs the bare minimum. Strangely, at this point of writing, Google doesn’t present a way to get just read access programmatically. So it asks the access that is available programmatically, which is read/write on Google Ads. Our Assistant uses only read access
