Cannot control the 20% discount on my products. I have them reduced already and now another 20% off!!
Appreciate the feedback. One thing worth clearing up, and it's actually good news: the 20% Grommet discount comes off your retail price, exactly as it always has. That means you're fully in control of it. When you lower your retail price, the number our shoppers see drops right along with it. Set your retail where your margins need to be and the math takes care of itself.

From start to finish, our experience with Grommet was professional, smooth, and genuinely enjoyable. The platform gave Wave Tape access to an enthusiastic, engaged audience, and the support behind the scenes made a real difference. Greg and Desi were incredibly responsive, helpful, and clearly invested in making the launch as successful as possible, which made the entire process feel seamless and well managed.
Selling with Grommet has been a good experience and reaches a different audience than what we're able to reach through other channels. We have found that sales "stick" at much higher rates because their customer base is looking for something truly unique, innovative, and well-made as opposed to simply shopping on price. The Grommet team also works tirelessly to support their brands.

Be very cautious before signing up. This platform forces a 20% discount and then takes a punishing 30% commission—you’re effectively selling at wholesale prices with none of the wholesale benefits. I know of no other marketplace that skims this high. In my data, 82% of customers bought only once, so there’s no lifetime value—just discount hunters. If your business doesn’t require repeat customers, maybe this works; for me, it’s unsustainable. I pressed their team repeatedly for a more reasonable commission and got nowhere. Bottom line: the economics don’t pencil. I was on the platform for a year and a half and gave it a fair shot—the results did not match the promise.

Grommet is an excellent platform! They’ve built a unique structure that showcases innovative products and services in a way that really connects with customers. If you have the chance to get your product or service featured, I’d highly recommend it! The team at Grommet is outstanding! The Grommet team has been responsive and supportive in finding the best approach to publish our product in their marketplace. The exposure to new audiences is such a great deal, especially since there is no cost to publish our items. We're excited to see growth.
