Fantastic app with an appealing PayPal offer. However, it won't work for you if you're outside the US/Canada. Additionally, the customer service is slow and hasn't been much help. So, all EU stores should consider looking elsewhere.
As many others have said, for a free app to Paypal users, HR is a nice way to integrate automated returns for customers but it does have its limitations. Better options for managing defective items and ability to make changes to orders within the dashboard all need to be improved. Also I've had some difficulties with getting help from the customer support team, often having to email multiple times before getting a response. Overall, I'm happy with what happy returns has to offer but I look forward to them making improvements that address all of the functionality requests so many people have made.
We implemented Happy Returns on ModCloth and are very happy with the outcome. The CEO of Betabrand told me that Happy Returns was one provider who upheld their word and that he was very pleased with the platform. This convinced me to add it to ModCloth. We anticipated a 65% adoption rate for the Happy Returns bar but it's a 75% adoption rate. Customers are really happy with the easy process and it's lowered the contacts to order for our Customer Service team.
The only negative Customer reviews were one to two instances where a store employee was not trained on the return process but the HR team quickly contacted the location for training. The ModCloth team had a short learning curve on using their tags but once we understood time based tags, it was really helpful for blocking promotion based doorbusters from being returned. Overall, we are very happy with the product and the service.
