HideShip is an app worth trying, even if at first glance it might seem unsuitable for your needs. Its user-friendly interface makes it intuitive to use and doesn't require much effort to understand. Was looking the options to disable Cash on delivery for Pre- orders. Unfortunately cart customizations were only available on shopify plus, but this app have helped me in doing so. Great Support team.

This app is great! I ran into some trouble while setting up the rule associated with a "Tag". Andrea was so helpful. He first emailed me a response to my question, then told me about the chat inside the app. He was even willing to chat with me on a Saturday morning/afternoon, if you can believe it! I would highly recommend this app.
