I cannot praise this feature enough—it's truly remarkable! One of the aspects I admire the most is that it eliminates the need for manual image compression. - When installing the app, you are immediately taken to a workflow that forces you to optimize all of your website photos regardless of whether you want to or not.
- It won't let you see the "optimised" version in full size.
- The free plan basically consumed in this initial "optimization"
- The help centre has not been updated since 2018...

Absolute perfection it worked pretty well but too limited for the free plan i wish i could have free plan and optimize other images but still very good!
Simple application to use and masterfully complies with what is standard. Customer support is fast and humanized, without those annoying alternatives of sending an email and having to wait for 3 days for a response. Waiting for more innovations and updates from the same developers, LoyaltyHarbour.

Although this app is great, there is room for improvement that could take it to the next level. It would be even more amazing if there were a two-way sync tool available.

Never again ! You cannot choose which images to edit. The image description doesn't make sense and doesn't match the URL. I can now re-edit over 1000 images.

Our app is specifically designed to help optimize hundreds or even thousands of images in a Shopify store automatically. To aid in the setup process, we provide examples from your store below the compression types, alt text templates, and filename templates. These examples usually help our clients understand how our app works and what they can expect when choosing one of our plans.
Upon checking your account, I see that our app is still installed, which is great news. You have the option to restore all your original images if you are not satisfied with the results. You can do that in our app by going to App - Settings - Restore all images.
Additionally, I reviewed your original alt texts and filenames and found that almost all of the images did not have alt texts, and the previous filenames were not SEO-friendly. Our app updated your alt texts and image filenames using the template that you confirmed during the setup.

Regarding the image description not matching the URL, I wasn't able to locate any issues with the images upon review. Our app uses the template that you confirmed during the setup process, and I'd be more than happy to investigate further if you could provide additional details about the problem.

They are lying, Tried it on my store, it said saved 4.9 MB, went to check stats on GTMETRIX and GOOGLE PAGE SPEED and literally nothing was changed.
Thank you for your feedback. We checked our logs and can confirm that our app successfully compressed 50 images and saved 44%.
We also noticed that you only compressed some of your images because the FREE plan includes only 50 images. In addition, you didn't compress your homepage banners using our Manual File Uploader.
Google PageSpeed Insights and other testing tools warn about website speed issues. We analyzed your store and noticed that your homepage had a review widget that slows down your store. The review widget uses images from AliExpress servers and doesn't use such essential features as responsive images and lazy loading. Official Shopify themes have been using these crucial features for many years. If you want to improve the speed of your website, you should contact the developer of the review widget and ask them to check your store.
I am also sorry that you didn't give us a chance to check your account and your store :( We also tried to contact you today. Unfortunetely, we received the following email: "Message not delivered. Your message couldn't be delivered because the remote server is misconfigured.".

1. Image Compression
I checked our logs and noticed that our app had reduced the size of your original images by 64% (Original: 318.9 MB, Optimized: 116.1 MB, Saved: 202.8 MB ). Please note that this is the average savings for your account, and many images were compressed by more than 80%!
Our app uses best-in-class compression algorithms. Unfortunately, your images can be compressed more only with significant quality loss. If we compress your images further, they will look blurry and unprofessional.
I also noticed that you wrote that it stayed the same even 1% of my store. Please provide more details about what you mean because our app has saved 64%, and it is unclear what 1% means. We are well-known in the Shopify community for being helpful even if a problem lies somewhere else!
2. Homepage banners
I also checked your store and noticed that you didn't compress your homepage banners using our Manual File Uploader. So I will compress them manually for your convenience and send them to you in a separate email.
3. Refund
If our app doesn't meet your needs, we want to make things right! So please check your email and let us know.

This is such an excellent app! Exactly what I've been looking for, having tried various image compressing apps on Shopify. Image Optimizer is quick, transparent, user friendly with their nicely organized interface, and great customer support (got an answer to my question the next day - impressive given the time difference!). We sell antiques, art and collectibles, which means that we have thousands of high quality images floating on our website at all times and needing constant optimization. I look forward to continue using Image Optimizer, very happy so far.

Image Optimizer helped me to solve a massive problem. Firstly the supplier photos that I received were HD and way too big, and using other tools on google didn´t compress the quality well enough. Their manual uploader function saved me alot of time messing around with other tools. Also Support reset my billing cycle for free because I had a load of images that I wanted to seperate from the main images but couldnt. so they let me optimize everything and gave me a free quota for the month. They even reply on weekends!

I really like, but only 50 images for free ? For small SMEs or beginners we could expect more ... about 100 images for free.
