What is the application
Firebear Import & Export Tool Shopify app is the full-featured solution for daily data management. The app lets you export products from your Shopify store, and import any updates from the suppliers or sales team you have.
The application allows you to import CSV files with customized column names, thanks to built in mapping. Simply drag & drop names from your file to relevant product settings.
About the first version
The initial release of the application features import and export of the products from your store.
We only ask you for the feedback. Any suggestions, opinions and anything you may share are appreciated.
Roadmap 2021
- Support of products, customers, categories, orders import and export
- REST API endpoints to accept any data structure and file formats at Shopify store, with CSV, XML, Json, Excel and ODS
- Running on a dedicated server, parallel & async processing of multiple import and export processes
- Key attention to complex nested data structures like dynamic product options & other entities which can be distributed into several files
- Shopify Tokens/keys system for API authorisation with OAuth 2.0 and detailed log of each call - domain, request, time etc.
- Predefined profiles for input (CSV, XML, Json, ODS, XLSX) and output (Shopify API, file, other APIs)
- Abstract and universal backend UI using Laravel, with a possibility to handle hundreds of input and output profiles
- Key attention to complex nested data structures like dynamic product options & other entities which can be distributed into several files
- Detailed log and monitoring system with debugging possibilities
- Event and trigger systems, and webhooks concept, each import and export process can be started manually, using cron schedule, triggered by an event (order placed, product out of stock), by API request, or using a webhook
