Insureful Shipping Protection

Great app and excellent support! We used Insureful to add shipping insurance and needed help fixing a UX/UI issue on our checkout page. Their team was very responsive and resolved everything quickly. The app is now working perfectly, and we’ve already received insured orders. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a reliable shipping insurance solution with great customer support.

The support team is absolutely amazing! They helped me install the app on my theme and even assisted with redesigning the widget to fit perfectly. Their response time is incredibly fast, and their professionalism is top-notch—this is by far the best app support I’ve ever experienced!

I was a bit disappointed to learn that the widget can't be added to the Checkout page unless you're on a Shopify Plus plan, but that's a Shopify limitation—not the app's fault.

Overall, this is a fantastic app, and I’m excited to test it out with my customers.

The app developers are helpful and knowledgeable about Shopify. We had some very specific needs for our store and they were very accommodating and made multiple customizations. Would recommend just based on the support.

Insureful app is very good. Must recommended. Provides all the features that you want for your store. Their service/support is awesome , whenever I got stuck they helped me in the best way they can and it was quick too.I have asked some feature that was not provided in app and they provided without any extra cost usually no one do that.

over $3,000 in lost revenue! We installed this app to add a shipping-protection widget. Onboarding was quick and the team was responsive over email at first (credit where due). However, I explicitly instructed support not to test or activate anything on our live theme and to use an inactive theme until I approved screenshots.

Despite that, they pushed changes live during a major promotion, which immediately hurt performance. We recorded a 1.1% conversion rate drop and over $3,000 in lost revenue in a single day. I deactivated the widget and reiterated not to touch the live theme—yet it was turned back on again.

When I asked for accountability and escalation to a manager/founder, I was told the app “was already active” and they declined responsibility instead of handing the matter to a professional. The lack of safeguards, basic change-control, and ownership here is unacceptable for any merchant spending real money on traffic.

Cons: disregard for live-theme safety, no change management, no escalation/ownership after causing measurable losses

If you install, insist on strict staging/testing protocols and written confirmation that nothing will touch the live theme without your explicit approval. I cannot recommend this app based on our experience.

This app really is a game-changer. The customer service is great, but what I love most is how it puts me in charge of my own insurance. With traditional policies, you always end up paying more than you ever get back. And in this case, you are always in control.
