I was surprised to discover that a new pricing policy was applied to my account despite the fact that I am an active annual subscriber who paid in full in advance.
the new pricing should apply only to users who subscribe on or after a specific date, yet it was imposed on my existing subscription retroactively.
I still have several months remaining on my current plan. My reasonable expectation — and standard consumer practice — is that pricing changes apply upon renewal, not during an active, prepaid subscription. Applying new terms mid‑contract undermines transparency and violates basic consumer‑protection principles.
This is not a practice I have encountered with other subscription‑based services. Customers should be able to rely on the terms they agreed to at the time of purchase without concern that those terms will be altered unilaterally.
Additionally, there is no clear assurance that after paying for another annual subscription, the price will not be increased again shortly afterward. This creates uncertainty and erodes trust.
Presenting this situation as a “choice” is misleading, as the original agreement has already been paid for and should be honored in full. Fair pricing, contract stability, and respect for consumers are fundamental expectations.
The customer support is plain crap! They have an ai bot that just keep saying nobody is available to chat. when i places a call back request 3 days ago for simply disconnecting my whatsapp number, i got a call and the person said they have done it. Its been 3 days the number is yet not disconnected and i am stuck with a stupid bot giving same replies and no way to connect to an actual person who can help me. Really disappointing experience. Any founder who is serious about your marketing timelines please avoid this app at all costs!
Extremely disappointing experience with Interakt.
Our WhatsApp marketing automations suddenly stopped working because our subscription was automatically deactivated without any warning, even though we were already on a paid Growth plan (~$41).
To make matters worse, the platform then showed two different subscriptions on the same account:
Growth Plan under Sell on WhatsApp
Starter Plan under WhatsApp Marketing
Because the marketing channel had stopped functioning entirely, we were forced to subscribe again just to restore basic functionality, meaning we are now being double billed for something that should be a single service.
We raised a support ticket immediately.
It has now been several days with no resolution. The only response we received was:
"We are checking internally."
Meanwhile:
Our automations stopped working
Our WhatsApp marketing campaigns were disrupted
Our billing is incorrect
And there is no urgency from the support team
For a platform that positions itself as a critical business tool, this level of support is unacceptable.
When a company’s marketing infrastructure breaks, days of delay is not acceptable.
If this issue is not resolved immediately and the billing corrected, we will be moving our business to another platform.
Right now, based on this experience, I cannot recommend Interakt to any serious Shopify brand.

I’m facing an issue with the Interakt app integration on my Shopify store.
The WhatsApp widget is not appearing on the website, despite completing the setup and configuration from my end. This is preventing me from going live, as I’m unable to properly test the customer journey and workflows.
I have already coordinated with the Interakt team, but the issue is still unresolved. It appears there may be a problem with how the app is rendering or being injected into the theme.
Additionally, I have already paid $51 for the service, but since installation, I have not been able to use it at all. Due to this, I request you to please process a refund at the earliest.
Kindly check:
Whether the app embed is correctly enabled in the theme
If there is any theme-level conflict preventing the widget from loading
Any script or permission-related issue from Shopify’s side
This is urgent, and I would appreciate your immediate assistance in resolving this or processing the refund.

Interakt app has been very useful for my business especially in sending automated messages to my customers. Apart from this, their support is very active and helpful in resolving any queries that I have.

One of the main reasons I chose Interakt was because it is available within trusted ecosystems like Shopify and Razorpay. Naturally, this builds a strong expectation of transparent pricing, clear billing, and reliable onboarding.
Interakt Free Trial & Pricing — Important Clarification
During onboarding, Interakt highlights:
14-day free trial
Around ₹400 worth of free credits
At first glance, this creates the impression that the platform can be used freely during the trial period.
However, based on my experience:
The credits may be free
But the plan itself (e.g., Growth plan) may still be chargeable immediately
This is a very important distinction.
The difference between:
Free credits
Free plan usage
is not always clearly emphasized during assisted onboarding.
Interakt Onboarding Experience
During the onboarding call:
The team guided me through setup
Helped select a plan
Encouraged moving forward quickly
However, it was not clearly and explicitly stated that:
The selected plan was not part of the free trial
Charges would apply immediately
Because the onboarding was assisted, I relied on that process and assumed I was still within the trial phase.
Key Issue: Perception vs Reality
To be fair:
The pricing information may exist within the platform
The structure is technically defined
However, the combination of “free trial messaging” + assisted onboarding + plan selection flow can create a different perception at the moment of decision-making.
This is where confusion can happen.

Our paid subscription was suddenly ended, despite being active on Shopify. As a result, all WhatsApp campaigns stopped, causing direct business and revenue loss.
We have been continuously following up for the last 3 days, but there has been no proper support, no resolution, and no accountability from their team. Only generic responses, no action.
For a business that depends on WhatsApp automation, this kind of downtime and lack of support is unacceptable. Paying customers should not be left stranded like this.
Would not recommend Interakt to serious D2C businesses unless they improve support response time, escalation handling, and reliability. We are shifting to BotPenguine.
