Kaparo: Preorders & Deposits

Offer split payment on pre-orders: a partial payment now, and the balance when the order ships.

Split the price of a pre-order or a made-to-order product into a partial payment (the deposit) at checkout and a balance. The customer pays the deposit now, and Kaparo charges the balance to the same card when the order ships, on a date you set, or a number of days after checkout. The customer gets an email before the charge. If a card is declined, Kaparo retries it or sends a payment link. Pre-orders are paid by card, not by local payment methods. Nothing is added to your theme code.
