Block shipping addresses your carrier can't print, and tell customers exactly how to rewrite them.
Many carriers and invoicing systems reject accented and non-Latin characters. When a customer types "Łukasz Wiśniewski, ul. Świętokrzyska", the order goes through, then fails at the label or in accounting. Green13 Address Check stops it at checkout and shows the plain spelling to use: "Lukasz Wisniewski, ul. Swietokrzyska". Scripts that can't be converted, like Cyrillic, get a request to rewrite in Latin letters. Address lines can be held to 35 characters for FedEx.
- Suggests the exact plain spelling instead of just blocking the address
- Checks name, company, address and city: the fields on label and invoice
- Keeps each address line within 35 characters for FedEx; can be turned off
- Stores no customer data: the check runs on Shopify's own servers
