Under the EU Omnibus Directive (2019/2161), announced price reductions generally need to reference the lowest price applied in the 30 days before the reduction. Vanilla Omnibus tracks every variant's charged price (including storewide automatic discounts), freezes the reference while a promotion runs, and displays it on discounted products through a theme app block.
