We are getting upwards of 10,000 products now and in moving from Woocommerce to Shopify I was on the hunt a year a go for a live/sync'd excel style method to handle our data day to day. I work with it daily and could simply not operate without it (as I also find the bulk native Shopify method quite clunky and for whatever reason error prone). Having multiple tabs set up for my different operational views and edits makes life so much simpler. Highly recommend for handling large data sets. Have at it folks :)

Mixtable is a fantastic app that streamlines our bulk pricing updates. It allows our brand & buying teams to focus on a single spreadsheet rather than multiple spreadsheets and manually updating Shopify. As we know, human error occurs with any manual tasks.
The team have been super helpful and has even added a margin % formatting option for us.

OK, so... i have used many apps from the app store, and most I've had issues with, and just an overall messy, complicated experience, until now.
So far so good. This app is simple to understand, everything is obvious and feels natural to use. This is my only review i have left for an app, and this one deserves it!
Oh, and another BIG issue with apps is the pricing.. but again, this app ticks all the boxes and is reasonably priced.

We use Mixtable as a master database of all our product. It pulls data in an easy to read manner, including the numerous Metafields we've created in Shopify. Other apps made it hard to read Metafields when they were created at the SKU level (instead of Variant SKU). The Mixtable team has always been very helpful whenever we've needed specific support.

Been using Mixtables for a few years now and I must say, it's the best one out there for ease of use, functionality and flexibility and the support you get is extremely good and always there to help you.

I am delighted with the efficacy of Mixtable, I can see my inventory data in real time and make changes easily. I have complexities within my inventory as we sell in whole boxes and smaller portions, so the inventory goes down at different rates depending on what is purchased. I didn't want to spend hundreds on a complex inventory app and found Mixtable will let me add in unsynced columns to the real time worksheet, so I have made a workaround where I can measure online as "1 portion" and "1 box" but in my worksheet I can measure them as 0.1 and 1, for example, so I know accurately what stock I really have. The fact that this is real time is a godsend. I am also excited to get the analytics data up and running so I can edit my worksheet to also tell me what products I need to order, in real time, without any exporting data into excel templates and messing around with formulas there etc. This could save me hours of time each month. Wahoo!
Without this app, we would have to go in the back end of Shopify, navigate to an item's page, and edit there anytime we add, remove, or change the status. I'm sure it's saved hundreds of hours of work so far. When we had an issue recently, Daniel was quick to reply and to go in and fix it for us. Highly recommend the app, and the excellent customer service.
We had a very specific need for this app regarding a barcode field needing fulfilling in a product catalogue of 13,000 skus (and growing every month). This seemed to be the only app that could bulk edit items in our Shopify product catalogue to such a specific degree. When we had concerns of how the app was functioning, Daniel from Mixtable support was so helpful and even had a zoom call so that I could better explain our issues. If you can figure out how to make this app work for you and your store, it can really fill the gap that Shopify leaves when managing your products.
Dreadful. Every time I used this editor a new issue would arise. It forced me to put all my variables next to each other in the spreadsheet for it to add them as variables and not individual products . Then when I came back the next day they were all separated and had new product titles. The customer service were really unhelpful and take far to long to reply. Simply don't use this app .
As per our email conversation with you, the issue is that you were entering your product titles into the product handle column. We then sent your data to Shopify, and Shopify modified the handles to suit its data requirements. Because two products can't have the same handle, and your handle values had spaces, Shopify created individual products for each variant you were entering. We tried to explain this to you, but clearly could not explain it correctly. This behaviour is what you also get with the shopify CSV importer. Mixtable did exactly what you asked it to do. The help content on our website clearly explains the process for adding multiple variance for new existing products during product creation. Still, we are sad that we didn't deliver to your needs. As for support, we replied to your emails with an hour or so of seeing them. The only delay was on a few emails that you sent us at 2am our time - we are based in North America and you are in the UK.
