Unfortunately unusable for our workflow. The app displays the “Available” inventory quantity instead of the actual “On hand” quantity.
As a result, an order can be shown as not fulfillable even though the item is physically in stock. This makes the app misleading and unreliable for order and backorder management.
We contacted support and clearly explained the issue, but received no response at all – not even an acknowledgement.
An inventory app showing the wrong inventory figure for our use case, combined with non-responsive support, is unfortunately of no value to us. We have therefore uninstalled the app.
Thank you for your feedback, and I’m very sorry for the delayed response. You were absolutely right about the issue.
We’ve updated OrderSight so it now uses Shopify’s On hand inventory quantity for fulfillment visibility, instead of relying only on Available inventory. The app also now shows On hand, Committed, and Available values by location to make the inventory status clearer during order review.
I apologize again that we didn’t acknowledge your original support message sooner. We really appreciate you taking the time to explain the problem so clearly.
