OrderSignal monitors every incoming order in real time and flags anything that looks suspicious based on rules you configure. Flagged orders are tagged directly in Shopify and appear in a review dashboard inside your admin. We found OrderSignal to be a valuable enhancement to Shopify's built-in fraud tools. While Shopify provides basic fraud analysis, OrderSignal allows us to customize alerts based on thresholds that are meaningful to our business and typical order patterns.
Setup was straightforward, and within days we were able to configure alerts for high-value orders, unusually large quantities, and first-time customers making significant purchases. Having the ability to define what constitutes a potentially risky order for our business provides an added layer of visibility beyond Shopify's standard fraud indicators.
For merchants who want more control over how suspicious orders are identified and reviewed, OrderSignal fills an important gap and complements Shopify's native fraud detection tools nicely. Our initial experience has been very positive.
