Oshi: Bitcoin Rewards Program

I've enabled bitcoin payments in my shop for a couple years now and never had a customer use that payment method yet. Once I discovered Oshi, I had an AHA moment! Bitcoin payments in the US is still in its infancy, but small businesses can play nn integral role in providing a first-time, hands-on experience for their customers. Oshi provides a unique way to reward and nurture our customers with Bitcoin instead of a traditional points-based system. Points expire and are only useful in the store they were earned in. Bitcoin has no expiration date and provides customers with the flexibility to save, spend, send or exchange their Bitcoin on their own terms.

The affiliate link feature also helps to build up networking between other businesses that offer Oshi bitcoin rewards and accept bitcoin. The Oshi marketplace hosts a space to feature their clients. Customers that earn rewards are directed there to find other ways to earn bitcoin and spend their bitcoin.

I met with Michael in an on-boarding zoom call to introduce me to the product. It's still in development but the main features are all active and working. He provided some 1-on-1 assistance to help me set up a template for the rewards information page on my shop (Dawn theme).

Overall, I'm very impressed with this idea. I think it has the ability to play a critical role in Bitcoin adoption. Giving out Bitcoin as a reward provides an incentive for new users to learn about it and potentially incorporate it into their life. It's completely optional for customers to participate and not forced onto them, which is an effective way to orange pill the masses.

Oshi is a wonderful rewards app to incentivize people to come back to your store to earn more Bitcoin. The CEO and team are wonderful and nice people that I have personally met in real life. Highly recommend using this for your business.
