The app is great. One of the key strengths the developer should continue focusing on is simplicity. After comparing it with other apps on the market, I found that most competitors are overly complicated. This gives Podifai a strong opportunity to stand out and compete effectively by keeping the user experience simple and intuitive.
There are, however, two features that I believe are missing. First, end users should be able to edit text directly within the text area while typing. Second, the app should allow image cropping based on the specific shape or dimensions required by the seller (Store owner). Adding these features would make the app even more user-friendly and practical.

I love both of the features you mentioned. They are something sitting on our backlog list but not prioritised yet.
Since you and a few other merchants mentioned about shape mask/crop feature, we'll fit it into our current development cycle.
For the 1st feature you mentioned, I agree that it'd be really cool if it can be implemented/coded smoothly. We'll look into it and you'll hear an update from us!

Probably one of the only apps where I genuinely feel that a lot of love and research has gone into it, created by someone who is passionate about providing a solution that is essentially plug-and-play and just works.
I don't currently have a need for the live customisation features, but it's nice knowing they're there if I ever want to use them in the future.
The fact that it's free is a bonus, but I would genuinely have no issue paying for this app, knowing that it supports an Australian business and a developer who is passionate about continually improving their product.

This app is AMAZING! So simple to use and the personalisation options are so much better than what's currently on the market. I found it very easy to use, and the fact that I can allow my customers to individually customise their order depending on which product they buy is so advanced. Not to mention the tech support! I had an issue with it displaying on my website because of my theme, and I got help instantly to the point where I didn't have to do anything. I just had to give access, and it was done in a matter of hours, like in 1 hour! Yeah, its a game changer!
This response means a lot to us! especially this came from a store with high-end looking like yours.
There are so many product option apps and personalizer apps out there. one thing that we put lots of effort is making our customizer as straightforward/simple as we can, which hopefully is something that makes Podifai stands out.
In terms of the theme compatibility, we're in the process of making Podifai compatible with all the themes BY DEFAULT but it will take time. But as long as you message us, we'll try our best to solve whatever issue you bump into.
There are also lots of great features upcoming.

I run a custom apparel lab (DTF printing and embroidery) and Podifai has been exactly what I needed to offer personalization directly on my Shopify store.
Setup was straightforward and the live customizer works beautifully on the product page — customers can see their name, number, and logo on the garment in real time, drag and resize elements, and get an instant preview before buying.
What really stood out was the support. Chelsea replied within hours, diagnosed a theme compatibility issue with my Ride theme, and solved it quickly with a clear explanation. That level of founder-direct support is rare.
The app is free with no hidden limits — incredible value for small businesses and independent operators like me.

This app gave me everything I was looking for! I have a product that requires a lot of variants and Shopify doesn't support them all. I downloaded this app and worked with Chelsea to make sure it all went smooth. She even went as far to help me with some coding to fix a very very specific issue. Highly recommend & Chelsea is amazing and super friendly.
