I tried the app, but unfortunately I didn't see any noticeable change in speed. However it messed with my script that required the user to accept terms and conditions on the cart page, so I ended up uninstalling the app.

The checkout page appears to load faster which is very important for a good website user experience in the last step to make a sale.
