Add a password to Shopify products in two simple steps

Control purchase buttons for selected products with a password.

Choose a product and set a password in the app. Enable the app embed in your theme to show a password field above the product's purchase form. Customers can unlock purchase buttons with the correct password and lock them again. On product lists, protected items show a Password protected label instead of purchase buttons. Products without passwords are unchanged. The setup screen supports English and Japanese. This app controls storefront buttons; it does not restrict checkout directly.

We identified and fixed a bug where password protection on one product could affect purchase buttons for other products on the same page. We have tested the fix to confirm that products without a password remain unaffected.
