Nothing goes into production before the customer approves the proof. Proofdesk holds the order.

Proofdesk holds an incoming order the moment one of your rules matches. You upload the proof, and the customer approves it through a link that needs no account and no login. A change request is not a rejection: the hold stays, you upload a new revision, and every round stays in the case history. Only after approval does Proofdesk release its own fulfillment hold and tag the order, so production never starts on a design nobody confirmed.
