Good potential, but missing a crucial and simple mapping feature
We moved over from Connex for QuickBooks hoping MyWorks would be the perfect connector. While it has some great features, there is a major workflow issue that prospective users should know about.
If an order comes through with an unmapped product, the app doesn't attempt a basic match by SKU (Shopify) to Item Name/ID (QuickBooks). Instead, it immediately dumps the item into whatever default fallback product you've selected (in our case, a refund discrepancy item). Because of this, we get hundreds of orders synced incorrectly, which takes hours to fix manually. To make it worse, you can't re-push orders once they've synced to correct the mapping.
I understand every business has different routing requirements, but adding a simple logic rule—check mapping first, fallback to SKU match second, and then use the default product—seems like a very simple ask that they haven't been able to figure out yet.
I'm leaving 3 stars in hopes the development team sees this and takes action. Fixing this would save users hours of manual cleanup.

Useful app for syncing inventory and order information between Shopify and QuickBooks Desktop. Settings are straightforward and simple.

MyWorks is great - being able to sync data from Shopify to Quickbooks and vice versa is fast and simple. Being able to customize how that data is synced over is even better.
The support team behind this app is awesome too - they're always there to help with any question and resolve issues very quickly.

I can't say enough GREAT things about MyWorks. It is everything it's promised and I feel stupid for not switching our store over to this sooner. There are actual REAL PEOPLE working at this company and they actually help!!! I can't sing their praises enough - Peter was so patient with us while we worked through the set up. I switched to MyWorks from another similar but more expensive provider. The fact that this option integrates into my Shopify dashboard and I can control the frequency of the auto-sync is great. The MyWorks team was very patient and helpful in setting up the software and mapping between the two programs. So far so good!

MyWorks integrates my Shopify orders into QuickBooks. Everything runs great and if any issues do arise their support team is responsive and gets the issue solved. Highly recommend!

We originally used MyWorks to sync with Quickbooks when we were on WooCommerce. When we initially switched to Shopify, MyWorks was not yet on that platform so I used another integration product. I am so happy that Shopify is now available for Shopify. I love that it utilizes the Quickbooks Web Connector. This seems to accelerate the download speed. Also the MyWorks mappings and settings all reside within Shopify which simplifies the mapping process. The MyWorks support team is top notch and helped me navigate a few set up challenges. MyWorks is a huge time saver for our business. Thank You!

This is a pretty powerful tool to integrate Shopify with QuickBooks. There is a learning curve, but the tech support staff is very helpful (and apparently endlessly patient).

Finally! We've been able to connect our orders from Shopify through to our Quickbooks. This product has been monumental in streamlining our processes (and saving my CFO's time!). We had a few hiccups at the beginning at implementation, but the customer service walked us through some troubleshooting and it was quickly resolved. Highly recommend adding this app into your toolbelt!
