Add a Request a quote button to product pages and answer each request with a checkout invoice.
Shoppers ask for a quote on the product page; you set a unit price and Shopify emails them an invoice with a checkout link. When they pay, it's a regular order in your store. Shoppers never see a limit — the quote form keeps taking requests. No theme edits: it's an app block you place yourself, and removing the app leaves nothing behind. You can hide the price and Add to cart on all products or only on tagged ones.
