R+L Carriers Shipping allows merchants to display real-time less-than-truckload (LTL) freight rates from R+L Carriers at checkout. The app connects to R+L Carriers’ rate quote API and calculates shipping charges using shipment weight, freight class, destination, configured pallet settings and selected accessorial services. Freight items are configured at the product level and combined from cart items into a shipment during checkout to generate carrier-calculated freight rates.
