When you put a bundle into the cart, it switches to the separate bundle items during checkout (without discount).
When checking the app requirements, it says "Your store and any apps leveraging bundles functionality must be using checkout extensibility", which is is only available for Shopify Plus merchants...

Sorry for any confusion, Shopify Bundles is not only for Shopify Plus merchants! The Shopify Bundles app can be used by stores on any Shopify Plan as long as they meet the eligibility requirements listed here: https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/products/bundles
