My courier limits parcel weight to 2kg. While Shopify Shipping can handle heavier parcels, orders over 2kg previously required manual intervention by warehouse staff to cancel and split them into new orders - an error-prone, time-consuming process.

Now, large orders are automatically split into 2kg sub-orders before reaching the warehouse system. For the warehouse, these appear as regular orders and are processed seamlessly.

The best part? Clients now receive separate emails with accurate tracking codes for each order. Marvelous!
