One in three scans the camera goes black. We tried 5 devices. They all have the issue. Extremely frustrating. Going to look for another app.

Hi,

This is a known bug within Shopify Mobile for iOS. As an embedded app, we utilize Shopify's scanning code to read barcodes via the camera and have already reported this issue to them. We are currently awaiting a fix.

As a workaround, please use our app via the free Shopify POS app, as the camera scanner is more stable on that platform.
