Warning to all users considering using Trexity. Apparently, their "Business Code of Conduct" is to abandon a parcel outside of an apartment building, and consider that delivered.
Missing an intercom number? No need to contact the shipper, just leave it on a busy urban street side to be stolen.
Insurance to replace said stolen package? Nah, it's your fault for trusting Trexity to safely deliver it in the first place.
This is the 2nd incident I've had with Trexity. Prior issue was their API offering a delivery address that was out of their range of delivery, then blaming our company for allowing the customer to use THEIR APP to choose Trexity as a shipping option at checkout.
Edit: Please show me a policy on your website where it specifically states that if a parcel is undeliverable, it will be left outside of an apartment building in a busy urban area. I'm sure the rest of your clients would love to see that.
We understand your frustration with this delivery experience. After reviewing your delivery, our courier followed proper protocol for the Photo Proof of Delivery service you selected - attempting customer contact and, when unsuccessful with no buzzer code provided, completing delivery to the building entrance.
We offer different service levels for a reason. PIN Proof of Delivery ensures direct hand-off with recipient confirmation, while Photo Proof allows building entrance delivery when contact fails.
The service level selected determines both the delivery process and associated liability.
While we can't control theft after proper delivery completion, we can help you choose the right service level for your needs going forward. High-value items typically benefit from PIN confirmation.
We stand behind our delivery processes while remaining committed to helping businesses succeed with their local delivery needs.
