We uninstalled this app and stopped using it while the store was inactive, yet were still charged across multiple billing cycles.
We flagged this issue starting in November and contacted support multiple times. Responses have been unclear or nonexistent, and the refund has not been processed.
Shopify Support has confirmed that the developer must initiate the refund via their Partner Dashboard. We are still waiting for that to happen.
Thanks for your review. To clarify a few points, Shopify invoices app charges within your invoice, once a month, and that does not always align with when you installed the app. This can result in a charge appearing after uninstall. We completely agree this is an imperfect way of doing things, and issued the refunds for both billing cycles immediately after you requested the refund (within 10 hours of receiving the request), and even sent over the screenshot to demonstrate that we had done so.
Unfortunately, Shopify controls the processing of the refund - we have no control of the money beyond pressing the "refund" button within our partner dashboard, so we are at the mercy of when Shopify actually processes that on their end. If we could make the money hit your account faster, we absolutely would. We sincerely apologize for the frustration this has caused you, and hope you're having a happy holiday.
