I would give zero stars if I could. They filed late, filed the incorrect amount, took zero accountability, and then disappeared. Read this whole review if you're considering them - they are huge scam and operate completely out of integrity.
I was so excited for this service, because filing sales tax is such a massive pain to deal with as a business owner. But they didn't file my taxes on time, and when they finally did file, it was over a month late and the penalties and interests had piled up. They didn't bother to check what actual amount was due, and instead filed the inaccurate amount from the month before, leaving me with even more penalties and interest. Christian said he would ask his manager about getting the penalties refunded, and then ghosted me. To date I have not heard a proper response from them, a refund for the penalties, or any follow up at all.
It's impossible to get support in a timely manner, and when they do respond, it's to give a runaround answer and then never follow through. I am now in the process of deregistering Numeral from my tax account with the state of CA which is also a huge pain.
I'm a business owner, and totally understand that things go wrong sometimes! We are all human and make mistakes. I had so much grace for the constant problems, but at this point it's just not good business to stay with this company. They don't care about your experience as a customer, or about the legal ramifications of making a mistake with your taxes. Find a different app and save yourself the headache!
Updating my review to include new info:
1. I removed them from our shopify account completely, but when I went to file my Q1 taxes this year, they had ALREADY FILED IT without my permission! They should not even even had access to my account at that point. I've removed them in all ways that I am able, and they are still accessing my information somehow.
2. I commented on their social media, and commented in support of other users who had the same horrific experience that I did, and they deleted all of the comments. They could have easily just responded publicly, but instead they chose to hide our bad experiences and silence anyone who shares how bad their service is.
AVOID at all costs.
