Birthday Email Marketing

UPDATE:
The developer implemented the requested features, and did so very quickly. We are extremely grateful to him; this is a matter of survival for our company. We want to promote a birthday promotion, and for our most loyal customers whose birthdays are just around the corner, without this feature there would be nothing to promote. Summary: the module has now been updated as we requested, and I think it will be useful to other users too. To the developer: 10 out of 5 ))) and a huge thank you!

This is a great app; it’s just missing one feature to be perfect. We’ve set it up to send the main email (a birthday email with a promo code) 7 days before the birthday. If a person registers less than 7 days in advance, they won’t receive the birthday email. For example, today is May 4, and they submitted a request stating that their birthday is on May 6.
So, he won’t receive a birthday email. He’ll only receive a follow-up email on May 9th informing him that you didn’t use your promo code. We can’t schedule the email to be sent on the birthday itself or one day before—we prepare the food, and our customers place their orders well in advance of the birthday.

This is easy for the developer to fix; just please add a couple of lines of code:
"If the specified birthday is closer than the date the birthday email is sent, send the birthday email immediately."

And here’s another thing: we specify that the promo code is valid for 30 days. So add this line of code:
"If the birthday has already passed but is within the promo code’s validity period, send a Birthday email immediately (and a follow-up email three days later)."
